Metro Trains Australia (MTA), in collaboration with the Rail Industry Safety Standards Board (RISSB), developed the Authorised Health Professional (AHP) Program to serve as a central hub for Australian Chief Medical Officers, Authorised Health Professionals, and Rail Network Operators. The program aims to efficiently manage the scheduling and training of prospective AHPs and to identify certified AHPs qualified to conduct medical assessments for rail workers.
Solution
iNNsite developed a comprehensive online platform, to support the AHP Program’s objectives. This custom platform integrates with an LMS to manage enrolments, and also to facilitate the delivery of training to existing AHPs, which ensures their readiness to perform health assessments in line with the latest standards. It also provides a low-maintenance, easily accessible, and up-to-date directory of participating AHPs. The platform enhances operational efficiency and ensures that health assessments for rail safety workers are conducted to the highest standards.
