tradeCabinets are an Australian brand, located in Melbourne’s South East. The team manufactures high quality, custom, flatpack cabinets and are commercial suppliers of custom cabinetry.

Trade cabinets sought to increase organisational transparency of job specific details. The team also wanted to reduce time spent on administrative activities, tracking inventory, manual paperwork, and wanted to implement a quality control solution.


iNNsite developed a custom Manufacturing Management System for tradecabinets, with tailored capability to manage all aspects of a job from start to finish.

The new system enables job tracking throughout the manufacturing life-cycle. Each stage is tracked using a custom IOS and Android apps with in-built QR scanners. 

Real time status updates are available to customers who are alerted via SMS, and can also track their job via the customer portal. Customers can also upload jobs directly via the customer portal. This part of the system alone improved customer experience, and  significantly reduced administrative time spent on the phone providing customers with status updates, and retrieving job requests via email, fax and paper. 

The system also includes inventory management, to manage material in stock and material order status. System capability to manage jobs and material, paved the way for development of an invoicing system to automate the invoicing process.

Finally, a quality assurance system was also delivered, to manage, track and fix defects.
